The third lecture of the TraCe lecture series will be given by Dr. Niklas Schörnig on the topic “The broad military use of AI - implications for tactics, stability and arms control”. Niklas Schörnig is a Senior Researcher in the research department “International Security” at PRIF (Peace Research Institute Frankfurt) and head of the Emerging Disruptive Technologies Research Group at CNTR. His research focuses on Revolution in Military Affairs (RMA) and military strategies and technologies.
The lecture series “Violence as a Global Challenge” provides an interdisciplinary insight into the current dynamics of political violence. The events take place weekly on Wednesdays from 18:05 to 19:45, mainly in German, in the Kaisersaal of Darmstadt University of Technology's castle. They are streamed live on the TraCe YouTube channel.
