The Project on Nuclear Issues has elected Frank Kuhn as a member of the Nuclear Scholars Initiative for the Class of 2025

Managing an increasingly complex array of nuclear weapons challenges requires next generation professionals with the necessary technical, operational, and policy expertise. The Nuclear Scholars Initiative aims to provide students and young professionals with a unique venue to interact and dialogue with senior experts on nuclear weapons issues. Participants are hosted once per month over the course of six months at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in Washington DC, USA, where they participate in two-day workshops that include discussions with senior experts, professional development seminars, break-out discussions, debates, simulations, and table-top exercises. Topics include deterrence, operations, arms control, nonproliferation, disarmament, and emerging technology.

Frank Kuhn is a Doctoral Researcher at PRIF’s Research Department International Security. He is also the Project Coordinator for the Cluster for Natural and Technical Science Arms Control Research (CNTR). His research interests are nuclear deterrence, arms control and non-proliferation, as well as military technology and strategy. Frank Kuhn is a member of the Young Deep Cuts Commission.
